Process of Making Holographic Boards

On a normal paper or plastic board, the hologram effects are created by metalizing the surface using a thin layer of shiny silver aluminum. The holographic patterns or images are embossed onto the surface. This leads to the forming of millions of pixels in microscopic grooves and valleys. This embossed aluminum surface diffracts or separates the light into many colors and the reflected light sparkles to create a more eye-catching appearance. Designing for hologram board is easy and not very different from standard print preparation. The base color is always silver reflective. Designing with different opaque white intensities, translucent color inks, and opaque color inks creates unique and dazzling effects.
